Acquiring Aesthetics: Can Machines Evolve their Own Aesthetics?
Machine Learning (ML) is a branch of Artificial Intelligence that allows
computers to learn from experience, or from large amounts of past data.
ML can, for example, learn the aesthetics of cake design from a large
catalogue of professional cake designs, or from similar (easier to find) data
such as Hallmark’s online inventory of greeting card designs.
By learning a robust model, a CC system can reject goofs like Wegman’s cake.
